Innerbelt Project
For the past six years, the Quadrangle has been working with the Ohio Department of Transportation to develop a comprehensive strategy to rebuild the Cleveland Innerbelt. This effort includes rebuilding portions of Interstates 71, 77 and 90 into downtown Cleveland. The plan is divided into several projects:
- East 55th Street Railroad Bridge
- Innerbelt Curve
- Innerbelt Trench
- Central Interchange
- I-77 Access
- Southern Innerbelt

Central Viaduct
The Quadrangle is working with representatives of the Consultant Team, ODOT, and FHWA to develop a bridge type recommendation to span the Central Viaduct adjacent to the present Innerbelt bridge. Issues such as how to integrate the structure into the immediate environment, including consideration of the structure’s color, texture, signing and lighting will be considered. |

College Town Housing
The Quadrangle will facilitate the adaptive reuse of historic structures into at least 275 additional market-rate housing units in addition to the 80 units in 1900 Euclid Avenue Lofts completed in September 2002. The target area is the block between Euclid Avenue and Prospect Avenue bordered by East 18th Street on the west and East 30th Street on the east. |

Fenn Tower
American Campus Communities working with Sandvick Architects and Turner Construction will develop and manage student housing at Fenn Tower. Fenn is poised to return to student housing in August 2006. Some 400 to 450 beds are planned, and floors designated for honors students and other specific groups. The units will be a combination of traditional one and two bedrooms with a private bath, apartments and multiple bed suites. Refurbishing some space on the lower floors will be done for retail and conference rooms. |
